Our first publication, ‘Druidry: A Practical & Inspirational Guide‘ by Philip Shallcrass (Greywolf) is to feature in an article in the Lammas issue of Pagan Dawn magazine. The article is by Hannah Semple, Intrafaith Manager for the Pagan Federation, publishers of Pagan Dawn. Having received a review copy of the book, Hannah conducted an email interview with the author which forms the basis of the article.
In related news, the British Druid Order (BDO) webshop rapidly sold all 100 copies of its limited signed edition of the book and report that the unsigned standard edition is also selling well. While the largest proportion of sales have been to readers in Britain and Ireland, a substantial number have gone to America, Australia and various European countries.
We and the BDO are keeping up with orders at present, though we have had to order more copies from the printers a few times which is great in many respects but can introduce a few days’ delay while we wait for them to be printed and shipped to us.
Incidentally, for reasons unknown, amazon.co.uk and amazon.com have either been listing the book as unavailable or external sellers have been offering it at the full retail price or more and then asking a similar or greater amount for postage, effectively doubling the price. We’ve taken this up with our online distributors. Other online retailers are, fortunately, being more sensible!
